Hi!

Welcome! I am so excited you are here!

Skillet Brownies

Skillet Brownies

Truthfully, I think I use my skillet for baking more than I do for cooking—BUT hey I will come around to it.

I have always struggled to find the perfect brownie recipe. I am not sure why but brownies have always been difficult for me to bake, but practice makes perfect—right? So I decided to try my brownie recipe with my skillet. I am so grateful that I tried this method, because my brownie recipe transformed. LITERALLY SO DELICIOUS!

I am not going to lie to you—as soon as these bad boys came out of the oven, I had to cut a piece out and devoir it. Not only do they smell good, but they taste good too! I love this recipe, because it is super simple and takes only 45 minutes to prepare and bake.

Ingredients:

-1 stick of unsalted butter melted and some more to grease the skillet

-1 cup of organic cane sugar

-¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

-1 ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract

-1/4 teaspoon of salt

-3 eggs

-1 cup of organic all-purpose flour

-1 cup of your favorite chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (I used convection bake) and grease your 10 in. skillet (or what you have) with butter.

2. Whisk together the melted butter, cane sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt in a large bowl.

3. Whisk one egg in at a time.

4. Add the flour and chocolate. Mix until just combined.

5. Pour batter into skillet and smooth out so the batter is even.

6. Add more chocolate chips if desired.

7. Bake for 35 minutes (until the center is just set).

*This will vary based on the size skillet you use—so make sure you check the center.

8. ENJOY!
